Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2024-01-01

Our Commitment to Transparency

At 3DGS.dev, we believe in complete transparency with our visitors. This page explains how we may earn revenue through affiliate relationships and how this affects the content you see on our website.

Your trust is important to us, and we want you to make informed decisions when using our platform to discover 3D Gaussian Splatting tools and resources.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are special tracking links that allow us to earn a commission when you make a purchase or sign up for a service through one of these links. The commission is paid by the merchant or service provider, not by you.

When you click on an affiliate link on our website, a small tracking code is used to attribute any resulting purchases or sign-ups to 3DGS.dev. This helps us earn revenue to support the operation and improvement of our platform.

Our Affiliate Relationships

3DGS.dev may participate in affiliate programs with various companies, including but not limited to:

  • 3D Gaussian Splatting software providers
  • Cloud computing and GPU rental services
  • 3D modeling and rendering tools
  • Educational platforms and course providers
  • Hardware manufacturers
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers

We may earn commissions when you click on affiliate links and subsequently make a purchase or sign up for a service. These commissions help support the free content and tools we provide.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

We strive to be transparent about affiliate links. You may identify affiliate links by:

  • Labels such as "affiliate link," "sponsored," or similar indicators
  • Links that contain tracking parameters or redirect through affiliate networks
  • Buttons or calls-to-action that lead to partner websites

Not all external links on our website are affiliate links. Many links are provided purely for informational purposes without any financial benefit to us.

How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Content

We are committed to maintaining editorial integrity and objectivity in our content. Here's how we handle affiliate relationships:

Editorial Independence

Our reviews, comparisons, and recommendations are based on our honest assessment of tools and services. Affiliate relationships do not influence:

  • The rating or ranking of tools in our directory
  • The content of our reviews or blog posts
  • Our decision to include or exclude tools from our listings

Honest Opinions

We only recommend tools and services that we believe provide genuine value to our users. We will never promote a product solely because it offers a higher commission.

Free Alternatives

We include free and open-source tools in our directory alongside paid options. We believe in providing comprehensive information to help you make the best choice for your needs, regardless of affiliate potential.

No Additional Cost to You

Using our affiliate links does not cost you anything extra. In fact, some affiliate partners offer exclusive discounts or bonuses to users who sign up through our links.

The price you pay is the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the vendor's website. The commission we earn comes from the vendor's marketing budget, not from your pocket.

How You Can Support Us

If you find our content valuable and decide to purchase a product or service we recommend, using our affiliate links is a great way to support our work at no additional cost to you.

Your support helps us:

  • Continue providing free, high-quality content
  • Maintain and improve our website and tools
  • Research and review new 3D Gaussian Splatting tools
  • Keep our directory up-to-date and comprehensive

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

We are required by the FTC to disclose any material connections we have with merchants whose products or services we recommend. This disclosure page serves as that notification.
